This award is based on feedback from Lift Power’s employees about the company’s culture, work environment, and trust in leadership. This is Lift Power’s first time in 50 years being honored by the Jacksonville Business Journal as a First Coast Best Places to Work for its positive industry-leading culture.

Establishing a presence in the material handling industry in 1971 as a small forklift dealership, Lift Power faced many challenges. When our headquarters opened in Jacksonville, Florida, owners LD Mohrman JR & LD Mohrman SR struggled financially to keep the business afloat. After many hardships, Lift Power began to flourish and opened three more locations throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. When Don Hune acquired the company in 2005, becoming President of Lift Power inc, he fostered the idea of growing into a turn-key warehouse solutions provider.

Today, Lift Power is extremely grateful to be one of the southeast’s largest full-service material handling providers. With more than 150 employees, Lift Power is extremely thankful for every employee and recognizes each person’s dedication, hard work, and passion. Without you, Lift Power would not have the success it does today, and we are honored to hear our employees feel just as positive as we think of them.
